This is the original, 30-foot long mono rig, and it's nearly unrivaled in it's ability to land trout. This rig has come through time and time again; it just flat out produces. Try one out, and you will be amazed just how effective this makes you on the water.
The tags have been left on for easier visibility. The butt-end is tied to allow a loop-to-loop connection to fly line or backing. A tippet ring is tied on at the end of the sighter to allow a connection to tippet of your choice. Both loop and tippet ring are secured with UV resin.
Simply connect the leader to your fly line or backing, attach a piece of tippet, and begin fishing!

Our "Standard" starts off with 20# Maxima Chameleon monofilament as the running line / butt and then tapered down via blood knots with alternating sections of Hi-Vis Chartreuse and Hi-Vis Red to act as the sighter.
The "Thin" begins off with a healthy section of 15# Maxima Chameleon monofilament as the running line / butt. From there it is tapered down via blood knots with tapered sections of Cortland Indicator mono, first white, and then bi-color to the tippet ring.
