The Bass Boss Leader is 6 feet long, and is ideal for throwing wind resistant bass bugs a floating line. The leader is intentionally shorter as Bass are not leader shy, and the shorter leader gives better control over the fly. The butt section consists of extra stiff Rio Saltwater Mono & Maxima Chameleon butt section that is tapered to 15# Rio Bass tippet for the 7/8 weight and 12# Rio Bass tippet for smooth energy transfer on the cast.
